Dish soap in an HE washing machine?

No comments :

I've run out of laundry detergent and not only have a mountain of laundry that needs washing (due to running out) but I also have a pile of soiled underwear due to a potty training toddler. Don't get paid for a few days now, and normally could wait, but direly need some pants and non-soils underwear for the toddler (it's mainly the smell and stains, I'm worried about with those). I've used dish soap for lots of things. Floor cleaner, dishwasher soap, cleaning the shower. But never for the washing machine, and google only tells me if it's safe for a non-HE. Has anyone ever used it? Obviously more than maybe 1-2 teaspoons would be way too much, but I'm wondering if it's effective, if it goes into the drum or the detergent spot, etc.
