Moving into an apartment with almost nothing and $800 to last me half the month. What to buy and where?

I have a bed, a futon, and a table and chairs, a dresser and a microwave.

I need cookware, dishes, silverware, toiletries, pillows, blankets, towels, a trash can, a laundry hamper and a vacuum. Also a mattress for my oldest son (7).

I have $800 to last me until the 1st. I want to spend as little as I possibly can. So should I hit up thrift stores and the dollar tree? What items if any should I buy new? Any tips?
