Anyone else here had to go down the road of getting a memory foam mattress? If so, how do you deal with the heat?

If anyone else there has the same problem as me I would love to hear if you found a solution outside of just getting a better mattress. I recently bought a hybrid memory foam mattress. It's not completely memory foam but large portions of it are. I actually really like it except that it's so hot to sleep in. As the weather has begun to turn, I'm sweating my ass off and it's not even hot yet! I was thinking about getting a mattress pad, or cover, or whatever they're called, like a pillow top thing, but thought I might run it by y'all here, in case anybody else's bought one of these things because they're less expensive and more accessible, as I have.

I know that the cheapest option isn't often the best option, or the most frugal option over the long term, but I had to get something fast and this is what I could afford right now. Any advice?
