How I earned $497‬ on FruitLab in the past 3 months

No comments :

FruitLab is a website that pays its users to watch and upload gameclips. They also host gaming tournaments with prizes that you can win too. I've been using FruitLab for 4 months now, and in the past 3 months I earned a total of $497.65‬. In this post, I will explain the details of how much I earned from what on FruitLab, the ways that I found most efficient to earn, and what ways you can cashout from FruitLab. Here are the signup links (users signing up from referrals start with 100 pips, users signing up non-ref start with 0)

Non-Ref

Just before I start, FruitLab rewards its users with its currency 'pips' where 1,000 pips = $1 and 1,000 pips = £0.80

Just before I go into explaining how I earned in each section, I just want to explain how being a partner and featured player has attributed to a lot of my success on FruitLab. Partners are 'carefully selected as trusted members of the FruitLab community', recognizable by the purple names and 'P' icons next to their profile picture. The benefit of being a partner is that your clips are automatically approved rather than having to wait 5 mins - 2 hours to be approved, which can help a lot with saving time and earning more. However, partners aren't paid or sponsored in any way by FruitLab.

The minimum requirement to become a Partner is 300 followers, after that users are chosen by the FruitLab team and announced every Friday at 1pm (UK time). The main way to become a partner is to be active in the FruitLab community, speak in FruitLab's 'Juice' chat platform and participate in tournaments along with posting quality content. Being a featured player means when you post a clip, your clip is put in the featured section and recommended to watchers. To become a Featured Player, again, post quality content consistently.

Now for the guide/tips section. I would just copy and paste my guide, but it's over 5k words so probably wouldn't fit. I'll try to summarise what each way to earn is, along with my tips from my experience on FruitLab.

Earning From Posting Content

Earning from posting content is definitely the bulk of my earnings from FruitLab. It is completely scalable, with the revenue coming from the number of views you receive on your clips. When you start posting content on FruitLab, the main aim is to grow your channel. The more followers that you get, the more consistent your earnings are. Make sure to post the maximum of 10 clips a day if you have the time to do so. This will help with channel growth as more people will see your clips and follow you, as well as earning more from multiple clips. Also, don't post all 10 clips at the same time. Space them out across the day, so your own clip's don't compete with each other for viewers.

You can post any clip (that is yours) from any game to earn on FruitLab. Every clip doesn't have to be crazy, just something worth watching for other people. It can be fails, funny, epic, skill, etc.

Earning From Watching Content

Every time you watch an ad before a clip, you earn between 1 and 10 pips. You can keep earning by doing this up to the daily limit for watching, that is usually between 150 and 1,000 pips. However, in some countries earning by watching is currently disabled due to the fall in the economy, but they will be enabled in 2-3 weeks as new ads have been added to the site. I don't earn much from watching as I focus more on content, but some people who watch earn a decent amount.

Earning From Arcade

Earning from the arcade is not reliable unless you are really good at mobile games. You pay 10 pips to enter, then your score is recorded on the leaderboard. The highest score in 24h wins the jackpot. There is also a weekly jackpot where the top 20 win too. I earned a bit from the arcade when it was updated and added new games that nobody knew how to score well. Now, players easily get 10x my score on the arcade so I have no chance for winning!

Earning From FruitLab Tournaments

FruitLab hosts gaming tournaments and quizzes every day with pip prizes to be won. The tournament schedule can be seen here https://fruitlab.com/tournaments. Tournaments and quizzes are a great way to earn while enjoying yourself playing games you would anyway, competitively. Tournaments are hosted by players, mod, and staff so if you want to host a tournament you can speak to the staff about it and they will fund the tournament if the idea is good.

Important note for tournaments - be in the 'Juice' chat general channel 15 mins before starting time as this is when the tournaments are organized, lobbies set up, etc.

Donations

My earning from donations are mainly from giveaways, scroll to the bottom of the homepage and there is a giveaways section where all the latest giveaways are posted. Usually to enter all you have to do is follow and comment on a video, it's always worth entering.

Earning From FruitLab Challenges

FruitLab challenges are where players upload clips to do with the challenge category e.g. 'Best Ace in Rainbow Six Siege' and the clips are rated by the community with the top 8 clips winning pip prizes (10k first place, 8k second, 6k 3rd and 2k for 4th to 8th). If you have a clip relating to the challenge, make sure to upload it through the challenge page https://fruitlab.com/weekly-challenges to enter. You can enter up to 3 clips per challenge. My tip for challenges is: just post the best clips. Some people try to abuse the system by getting hundreds of comments on their clips but scores are adjusted at the end if people do this.

Tips: What not to do

  • Don't post clips that are not yours
  • Don't create multiple accounts
  • Don't hack/cheat tournaments

Stay away from these and you will be fine. However, the people that break rules can have pips taken away or in serious cases, their account deleted. (but nobody is banned randomly for no reason)

Cashing Out

With your pips you can buy:

  • Gift cards from the FruitLab shop (amazon, G2A, xbox, playstation, steam, etc.)
  • Products from the FruitLab Marketplace (e.g. thumbnail design, hoodies etc.)
  • Cashout to PayPal balances 200k+ pips ($200+)

Items in the FruitLab shop vary country by country.

Conclusion

As you can tell by the earnings, FruitLab is a great way to make some extra cash on the side if you play games. If you put the time in at the start, you can really earn something significant once you grow your channel. But I think the unique part of FruitLab is that it's actually fun to use. It's watching and creating the content that you enjoy while taking part in tournaments of games that you play that makes FruitLab so enjoyable. At the start, earning is harder (I earned $34 in Feb), but if you put in the work and follow the best practices you can easily increase your earnings.

If you have any questions about FruitLab, please ask them, I will be happy to answer them.
