Buying consumables off Amazon is not frugal

There was a post recently about Amazon subscribe and save. Buying products from Amazon is no longer frugal, it's cheap. You can't guarantee that what you're getting is real, and the product could be harmful. Until Amazon has actual quality control, buying from there is not safe.
