Flight compensation: vouchers or cash?

Wonder if people here can help me decide which option is more frugal:

I missed my connecting flight due to a delay at my departure airport.

Under EU laws, I am entitled to EUR 250 compensation regardless of the flight price. However, the airline lets you chose between that amount in cash or EUR 350 in vouchers for that airline (valid 12 months).

My dilemma: I will potentially fly 2-3 times with this airline within the coming year, so it's likely I will use the vouchers. However, I can also fly with other airlines (usually cheaper).

What option would you pick?
