Small junk purchases add up

I started my first part time job last month. Today, I looked up at my bank statement because my bank account barely went up despite having a job. Turns out, I mindlessly spent 220 dollars last month on useless stuff like eating out, games and shopping. My jaw dropped.In the end, my bank account only went up by 60 dollars and I dont even have bills since Im a HS senior student. My goal was to save as much $ as possible b4 I move out to college and I falied it last month.

This month, my goal is to cut back on useless purchase and spend no more than 60 dollars per month and save the rest.
