RaterLabs Yukon project I-9 form--where did you access the form? Do I really need a notary to sign?

My start date is tomorrow, 01/23, and I was informed by email that my Part 1 of I-9 needs to be submitted by end of my start date, and that it needs to be signed by a notary.

1) Where did you access the form? Did it show up on your project page eventually, after other docs were completed, or...??

2) So it needs to be signed but not stamped, by a notary? Or can a neighbor, etc. attest that I am who I say I am? I'm reading a lot of stuff about notaries NOT handling I-9s.

Thanks in advance. Onboarding has been kind of ridiculous to say the least!
