A Full Box of Borax - Laundry and Dishes?

Hi Frugal Redditors!

My mom just gave me a full box of borax, and I was looking into DIY laundry and dishwashing combos that I could use this borax in to try and save myself some money. However, all I'm finding are recipes from old blogs that really have no personal testimonial as to whether they work or not.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for formulas with borax? NOTE: My boyfriend is a well driller, so I need something strong for laundry...
