Have you ever enjoyed taking a survey?
I think we've more than cornered the market in complaints around here, so let's shake things up a little bit: when was the last time you genuinely enjoyed taking a survey? Was the content within relevant enough to your interests to grab your attention and keep you engaged? Did it feel more like a fun activity and less like a standardized test? Did you enjoy it enough to actually select that "Yes, I would like to be contacted for future questionnaires" option they sometimes throw at you at the end?
I got one. Back in March, I was looking to quickly hit my daily goals one day, so I went for one of those lengthier, higher-paying surveys, which I almost never do. 480 SB, 45 minutes. The survey starts off with screening questions about local radio stations near me and how often I listen to them. Then the main content of the survey has me playing short, maybe ten-second snippets of R&B songs and asking me if I've heard them before. I did this for 40+ minutes and I didn't even realize how much time had passed by the time I was done because I was getting caught up in all the music and basically taking a trip down memory lane (and typing lyrics I heard into the search bar in another tab to track down some of the songs I liked but didn't recognize). To top it all off, it credited instantly. No delay.
I also quite like those "virtual shopping" surveys where you navigate the 3D store shelves and add items to your cart.
