[TIP] Clean white shoe sole regularly to easily hide other imperfections.

As I’m putting my work shoes on, (which are low cut Vans) I checked to see if the soles were clean. I realized that I’ve worn these shoes every day 12 hrs a day for like a year now. They have many subtle stains and the insides are quite worn out. I must say these are very resilient shoes. But one thing I have learned to do, after owning this particular pair 5 times over, is to clean the white soles. Yesterday I got compliments on my shoes because I cleaned them the day prior and it kinda amazed me. Gleaming white soles will hide other imperfections on your shoes, thus allowing you to use them longer = frugal. I’ve contemplated buying a new pair, but why? I can just clean the soles and still get compliments! Rubbing alcohol and a rag is what I use. If anyone has better suggestions I’m happy to hear!
