I am moving out soon, what are your personal best tips for frugal living for a beginner?

No comments :

For some extra background:

I will be moving out January 1st, with a small savings ($1k) and an emergency fund ($500)

My current bosses at the restaurant I work at told me I can live at their Bed and Breakfast for $50 dollars a week, and also work there at $10 an hour (in addition to working at their restaurant), and the money I make at the B&B will immediately go towards my rent. I honestly think I can't get a better deal right now.

I live in Tennessee, and with a specific scholarship, your first two years of Community College is free if you're able to keep up with your grades, so I am going to abuse that opportunity next year (save save save for books, right?)

Because the B&B is only 20 minutes from my house, and also right by where I work, everytime I go into work the next couple of months I will just bring a box of my things and drop it off (I actually got this idea from this subreddit)

I just feel like right now I have a pretty good idea of what I am doing, but I'm just waiting for adult life to blow up into my face very soon. Any tips you'd like to share to make my move or my first couple of months of living alone more frugal?
