Good Cheap Phone Company.

Before I get jumped on, I did look at the FAQ but there are over 500 posts, all FOUR years old, it's just not going to help.

I'm not a heavy user, so I don't need much but I do need to make and receive calls with good clarity. People love to text these days so I'll need that, and lastly, I sometimes look up words and such so a bit of data is needed.

I've had T-Mobil prepaid since yr 2000 and I got by for about $17/month. I upgraded to a smart phone last year and was using a company called Text Now for $18/month but the service is horrible! I'm giving Consumer Cellular a shot at a cost of $20/month, but already, I see some texting features that even worked with my oldest turn of the century phone, don't work on it.

I don't have much to spend, but I need a reliable phone.

Do you have experience with a good, reliable company?
