Only making like 75 cents a day here, question Swagbucks News/Tips

How can some people make $250 a month on this app? I basically log in and do the surveys and some other random stuff, and it turns out what I make ends up being about 75 cents

Seriously, I should say I made like 75 cents and then have said, "This thing's a scam" and quit :D But really, is there some tip you would give a newbie who wants to at least make like $10 a day on this(or is that unreasonable?)
