(AUS) New survey group on the block, boasting a $16hr and highest paid surveys online, worth it?

Please be aware before reading this post that it is currently AUS only for the best paying site, and that it isnt really exciting work: You are ultimatly providing your opinions for certain things such as, Do you watch free to air TV etc. and at times it is tedious, it isnt fun, but it does result in a decent amount of money! So lets get into how!

Ive always been into these sorts of websites where you fill in surveys for money; usually $0.50... terribly tedious.. although you do make decent money in the long run, its usually awful.. And BELOW minimum wage.

Although now, yesterday a site called Octopus Group (THIS IS AN AFFILIATE LINK, BELOW IS THE NORMAL WEBSITE LINK) was released and started taking surveys, boasting that it provides the highest paid surveys which state you can make $16hr+.

At first, Im thinking ive heard this sort of thing all too much but signed up anyway.. But i was wrong, they are paying out $1.50-4 for a 5-10 minute survey. Now this got me thinking longterm. If i do 3 of these ($12 for 25 minutes work) every night for a year, what would that come too?

Now what if i did this site, aswell as 2 more survey sites that i use and a website testing site, before i go to bed = 90 minutes max, every day for a year?

• $4,380+ $2160 + $2160 (Roughly the two other survey sites, significantly lower than the first mentioned sight thus = the difference in pay outs) plus my website testing site (spend 10 minutes navigating a site and talk my thoughts through a headset on where they should improve and my thought process: site called UserTesting )+$3650 = $12,350 a year.

Basically, as a uni student, that pays for my accomadation. If youre currently working at a $40,000 salary, youre now at $52,350... $90,000? Now $102,350 a year.

Feel free to do your own research on which sites to use accompanied with Octopus Group, because im not too familiar with those who are actually good/worth it.

Leaving notes: It has only been released for 1 day and it is ONLY AUSTRALIAN. After talking to support for an hour, they are facing an overwhelming number of applicants.. not too surprising as they are now the best survey site but that means a slower start up.. they state that it will take a couple of weeks before you get 2-3+ surveys a day and to be patient.. Also above is only estimations and projections which may be incorrect, as they are unsubstantiated and havent had the practical trialing until now. Feel free to pitch in on your thoughs when it ocmes to online surveys for money, is it worth it? Or do you invest your time in more deserving things?
