I wish being Frugal didn’t have a bad connotation

I’m 27 M and grew up lower middle class. I learned to appreciate a dollar, worked hard, saved every cent, and now have a decent savings (55k ish) I know it’s nothing crazy but growing up with a single mother that’s seems like life changing money.

I can honestly say I got it from being frugal! Not buying new clothes, packing a lunch, keeping phones for 10 years, Etc, Etc. I invested all my extra money and it’s grow to give me options!

I would get made fun of but wouldn’t trade my frugal lifestyle!

One of my friends grew up rich with everything handed to him and he bets money he doesn’t have, can’t hold a job, and spends his parents money!

Moral of the story BEING FRUGAL AND FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE IS GOOD!!! Don’t let people shame you for being smart with your hard earned money!
