Is the game hard

People compare it to Plants vs. Zombies but since I never played that, yeah it's hard if you are new to it. The game really pushes IAP and some monsters are events only.

Tips for the entire thing.

• Click on the book before the level to see what people used to beat the stage and copy that if you have the monsters and levels. It makes it easier.
• Smelly Plant, Dracula, Dread Lord, Nova, Berserk, Iron Fist, Lurker, Ghost, Leviathan, Witch, Chicken I know that's not his name I just call him that are the most useful from what I have seen. Mina is supposed to be OP but she's an event-only monster. Leviathan I think is an event-only monster but he's good.
• The chapter's difficulty depends on what monsters you have and some RNG. You do not have to kill the boss; if your castle stays up you can proceed/finish the chapter
• The skills are all random from the chest I got good skills from three chains and crappy ones from five but you're supposed to get better ones from five
• Skills for the map depend on your playing style but I found it easier to just boost up specific monsters I have over global ones because they stack when prompted.
• I personally used turns over everything else from the chests outside of the level up with five but again, that's my own playing style. Find which skills work
• Level up the starter monsters for level 11 because they are the easiest for the hero levels (green) to finish that task and you get them from the bat
• If you purchase the packs, they have to be exactly the same price. There are $9.99 packs and $19.99 packs everywhere.
• If you can't get Dracula or Leviathan, click on the book before the chapters to figure out another way to finish the chapter with what you have
• Try to combine in fives, but if you can't because items are too far and don't want to waste turns, just combine what you can and get monsters ASAP, especially after bosses
• Try to max level but covering your map is more of a priority because some monsters can bypass and will go through spots to hit your castle
• If possible cover the far right and far left corners of the map because there are enemies that go to the sides with something that has AOE/ranged around attacks (like Dracula or Smelly Plant)
• When your castle is destroyed you have the option of a free video or gem. Free only restores half and gem restores full.
• Watch videos for gems and gold
• Save gems if you can for gold or events that give you gold/cards/specific starter monster cards. You can get gold also by doing levels so you shouldn't run out.
• Occasionally boost up your most used monsters too in the card section on the home page
• Remember you have talents, equipment, etc. for the higher-level monsters
