Match Masters gave credit

This game is quite annoying because it pits you against other players in the hope of leveling up but it seems like you don't have to actually hit trophy level 1700. I hit TL 1100 and the 2500SB is now pending. I did lose quite of bit of games, so maybe it just counts your total games.
