The US razor industry is a total scam. 5 years ago I got a steel razor from Germany for 40 bucks and now I only replace the razor blades. A cheap pack of 100 razor blades (lasts 6 months if you shave everyday) costs around 5 dollars. An expensive pack of 100 Japanese steel blades is 8-10 dollars. In the last five years I’ve maybe spent 25-30 dollars on shaving. My razor has never rusted but I paid for a high quality one. Probably one of my best frugal hacks. All the double and triple blade stuff is marketing nonsense. A single razor gets you an awesome shave.
