For those seeking an update about receiving Paypal gift cards

No comments :

I received a Better Business Bureau response dated 1/25 on 1/27 from Prodege:

"I am very sorry for the issues that you've had trying to receive your Paypal redemptions. I also apologize that you haven't received a more timely response on why you have not received your redemptions. Currently we are having technical issues with our Paypal process. We have our developers working on this issue to get it resolved as soon as possible. Additionally we have shared your feedback with the rest of the team in charge to work on making sure this process is a much better experience for our members. We have also added some courtesy SB to your account. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us. As soon as this issue is resolved we will let you know. Thank you very much for your patience and support."

As a test, I took that 500SB "courtesy credit" and immediately ordered an Amazon card. It was like an hour or less and it was available. This is a Paypal issue and it was working just fine for a very long time, so Swagbucks must have screwed up something. A "team" of developers working to get it resolved should have had it fixed in days. It's not like the problem isn't known. If it worked before, they know why it isn't working now. I countered Prodege's response with my FTC complaint, cited the 1,700+ Better Business Bureau complaints (many of which are people who took surveys, did promotions and other things and never got their money) against Prodege and also cited the permanently-affixed link on the Better Business Bureau's website for Prodege:

Prodege, LLC | Better Business Bureau® Profile (bbb.org)

See that link at the top? " Business Alert: Click here to contact our Customer Support for a faster, more efficient resolution of any issue: https://prodegesupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001971531. "

They had so many people wanting money that they had the BBB post this link. Now what's wrong with that Customer Support link? The response time for that Customer Support link is 10 to 30 days - and I suspect those are business days, so you're looking at a month to month and a half for a response at all.

I also countered with screenshots from early December 2021 where I had the exact same issue with Paypal that ran past Christmas. This is not a new issue with Paypal payouts this month alone. It was happening to me and who knows how many thousands in December 2021.

Prodege has 1,783 complaints closed in last 3 years and 1,115 complaints closed with the BBB in just the last 12 months alone. I have asked the FTC to look over the complaints and consider filing a lawsuit against Prodege for fraud/bad business practices, both of which they have displayed for a long time. If people have to chase you down to get money owed to them, then your business is a fraud.
