Sewing hack

No comments :

“Sew/ fix your clothes.” This is certainly not the cheapest frugal tip unless you already have a machine or sewing skills. Obviously some clothes don’t need to be “great” but hand sewing can still be a drag even if you’re not trying to be perfect. For simple hems and repairs one can use something called stitch witchery. An iron and well placed stitch witchery can shorten those too long pants, and if you’re creative or it’s a simple fix it can even make repairs. Just be sure to check that you can iron the clothes you’re trying to repair or hem.

ETA: stitch witchery can be found at many sewing stores. Unsure if it can be found at places like wal mart but it’s possible. As well I’m sure it can be found online.
