Grocery shopping question

I have been going to the store every 3-4 days to pick up the things that i will need for the next few days. But i feel like this is costing me more? I try not to go back until ive used everything from the previous trip, mainly to make sure fruit and veg dont go bad.

Should i change it to once a week?? Or longer?? I use costco and aldi mainly.
