Can't confirm phone?

So in order to do special offers or redeem my SB it requires my phone number, I didn't like the idea of using my real number at first so I tried using TextNow and other apps. Which didn't work

Now I was ready to use my real number and it now says I have "exceeded phone verification attempts"

does this mean I'll never be able to redeem or is it like a 24 hour waiting period before I can enter another phone number?
