Drive to work or take public transit?

1 comment :

Frugal fam wwyd? I live in a big city so commuting is rough but trying to decide which makes more sense. If I commute to work I’ll spend 140$ on gas a month plus 86$ to park at work (I know so dumb). If I get a bus pass it’ll be $187 for a quarter (3 month).

The problem is that it takes an hour going there on the bus and 1.5 hours going home. Driving takes 30 mins there and an hour back.

It’s only 10 miles lmao. I’m currently taking the bus and it does take a toll on me but seeing if the other option makes sense.
