A Leaky Faucet
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where else to post this...but, the entire point of fixing this leaky faucet on my own is because I want to save money and not have a plumber come out, look at it, and be like, "Oh yeah, got it. That'll be $200." All in 5 minutes.
Anyway, I have this leaky sink faucet that's been driving my wife and me mad. It's a delta faucet with two handles. I've narrowed it down to the hot water side by taking it apart and fiddling with it. It has a cartridge. I haven't replaced anything yet...mainly because I don't know what to replace. But, minor tweaks to it seem to stem the leaking for a bit...so...there's that. But it will reoccur by the next day so something looks like it needs to be replaced. But...how do I go about finding out the part number I need? Like...I know who made the faucet, but apparently cartridges come with specific part numbers? Or do I just take out a cartridge and mosey on over to Home Depot/Lowes?
Idk, this is my first time with this sort of thing.
