Anyone else have a problem of saving up money to buy something you want only to decide not to get it once you have the money?

I'm pretty good at saving money, I cut costs from things I dont really need and always shop smart, waiting for the best deals. However when there is something expensive that I do want, like a nice watch or suit, I dont have difficulty saving the money up, it's that when I get enough money saved up I look at all that money I saved and think about how it could be better used. So I dont buy the watch because I think "it really only is just something to tell time with, and it looks nice but really I don't need it.." I never buy anything nice for myself after saving up because I can't get myself to suddenly spend all that money. I just talk myself out of buying it.
