I design a lot of brochures, flyers and displays as part of my day job. Any way I can turn that into a profitable side gig?

So I basically don't get paid to do this stuff specifically. Someone has to do it and my designs are always the best so it's left to me...but I enjoy it so I'm cool with that. I don't have any design qualifications but I can pull together a pretty diverse portfolio from all the work I've done so far. I've looked at sites like Upwork and there doesn't seem to be much room for creativity. I'd kind of like to just make my own stuff and customize as needed.
