Best Way to Save

I'm newer to SwagBucks - a little over a month in. I'm wanting to save up points over the next year towards a larger purchase on Amazon. I have some questions.

What's the best approach for this?

Are Amazon gift cards the best option or Visa or a combination of both so that I can get the discount each month?

How long do Amazon gift card codes/Visa Gift card balances kept before expiring? I'd heard that your Visa Gift Card balance gets stored as tokens on a site? Can someone explain this to me, and explain how long those tokens expire or any follow-up information.

I have yet to redeem an offer. Is my understanding correct that the ones that are offered monthly as discounts - you can only claim the discount once. Is this the case? Is there a limit on the number of redeeming you can do at a time? If I wanted to redeem multiples of a gift card at a set amount am I capped at all and need to be claiming these sooner? Is there any reason to claim these now or to not claim any now?

Any other feedback would be appreciated in terms of tips or thoughts for long-term point collecting.
