My understand is there are two portions of your bill; the delivery service which doesn't change, and the supply service which would. Right now we pay .094 per kWh for the service, and would get an "introductory rate" of .119 for three months for switching, but it also comes with 5k miles and 2 points per dollar spent a month. Obviously switching seems to be initially expensive, but do the miles more than offset the slight increase in cost? For anyone thats done it, did you notice a significant increase in variable rate? The promotion only requires two months of payment, so it seems worth it just for those two months of maybe spending ~$6 more. Any thoughts? Thanks.
