A work from home registered address?

I've been struggling to be accepted in the workforce or keep something steady that works w/ my availability since I don't have my own means of commuting but certainly have access to such resources, including public transportation and family members. Soon, I'm going to start classes online. My dad is on disability and claims me as a dependent for things like S.N.A.P./F.S. I can work and be taken off that list but anyone registered to his household that would work would be taken into consideration for household income. My step brother resides in an address close by and wouldn't be affected. There was the idea for me to register his address (space leaves me to not actually reside there) much like a P.O. Box address so my dad's benefits wouldn't be hurt should I actually acquire steady and gainful employment. There were ideas for work at home/virtual opportunities and even something where I'd run a home business to commission provisional work. In either case, would I have to actually have to be residing in the registered address for that to work?
