Online work from abroad?

I have a young family member in Ukraine. She has a Masters in Philology with a concentration on English, in which she is very fluent. Her native languages are Ukrainian and Russian, and she knows some German.

With all the political and economic trouble in Ukraine, the exchange rate has fallen and like many she is now making very little money in her 9-5 job as a translator and admin at a construction firm (about $100/month). She does some freelance writing and translation online, but the companies that she knows of pay $2-4 per jobs and the jobs can take a full day.

Are there any online jobs (full time or part time), where she could make more? Even $3-$5 per hour would be a huge increase. The jobs don't need to be translation as she is a smart girl and can do whatever is required.
