Websites with online deals and discounts

No comments :

There are some websites that specialize in searching the internet for hottest deals and free promo codes, bringing them all to a single place. They achieve that by using special search algorithms. The best thing is they categorize the collections product-wise or brand-wise which helps analyze all the available options at one place.

Here is the list of top 5 websites which I think are most up-to-date, best market-searching algorithms and with least possible ads to help you find the best deals and discounts.

1). Deal News:

Deal news has secured the first position in the list. It is slightly more complex in comparison to others as it’s a bit over-organized. The website’s response time is very quick in-spite of the huge amount of data. They are obsessively dedicated to list the best deals only. This is their quality as well as a counter. The problem with listing only the best means missing out on certain products and brands which may have been more desirable by user. It misses out in these kind of filters in the search tab as well.

It is very good at finding best deals quickly and concisely. It may not be very general but still does a fantastic job for hundreds of common product types. Plus, there is an added advantage of creating an account which remembers previous searches and gives alerts for new promo codes, discounts and special offers. It is a positive because it is not mandatory to create one.

2). SmartCoolDeals:

SmartCoolDeals has made to number two in this top 5 because it offers widest variety of products categorized extensively in the simplest user interface. It means total business with no random stuff on homepage. The link leads you straight to products. Search bar stays at top of every page making it very quick to make a search query from any page.

In addition to simple and straightforward approach, it is equipped with all the tools to find all the available deals in a glimpse. There are new deals flashing every second. There are no ads to ruin the experience. They don’t require you to create an account before searching for a deal. The categorization of products and brand makes things very easy. Another great thing about this website is its evolving blog with ton of new content storming in everyday. So, if you are in need of finding a product quickly and looking for a discounted deal reliably then this site is for you.

3). Brad’s Deals:

Brad’s Deals is another deal finder but it isn’t as automated as the previous two. It has another angle of looking at the problem and this peculiarity has got it’s position at no 3 in this top 5 list of best deal finders. It isn’t related to finding best deals or promo codes from the internet database. Instead, it has people or flying recruits all over the world which try out different deals and products and review them in a way which helps them position their deals. Now, in online shopping it happens very often that the delivered product turns out to be different than the displayed one in terms of quality, color, etc. In these kind of scenarios, it is very helpful to find out what buyers had to say about the product. It has a considerable following, which makes it pretty authentic.

It is a unique instrument in its kind which is why its hard to make a call on its disadvantages but it is certain that deals it brings can be biased by number of people trying a single product be not many making the result vague. Its been operational since 2016 and its fighting this limitation ever since. So if you want people perspective on a certain deal or a product, visit this site.

4). GottaDEAL:

GottaDEAL is another web application which helps in finding the best deals, promo codes, coupons all free of cost and hassle. It has a search bar hanging at top with other stuff arranged in tables. The homepage has re-direction links to specific tabs. The best thing about this website is they have tried to encapsulate SmartCoolDeals and Brad’s Deals partially. It’s bringing out all the best deals from the search but with an added tab of Forum. The forum is to facilitate users ask questions about problems faced by users publicly and allow other buyers and administrators to answer them.

Now, the problem with this innovation is that it is imperfect. There aren’t enough interactions in the forum because of a lack of visitors. This also disturbs the search algorithm and at times products aren’t displayed in the correct prioritization. For example; If a person wants to buy a push up board, there maybe many positive opinions of a single company from the forum, which means that other products whose price is lower and of a higher quality might not be displayed. Now the user will have to solve the problem himself by applying search filters. Click on the link and try the example yourself!

5). Slick Deals:

Last but not the least is Slick Deals. It may sound very smooth and slick but the interface is pretty complex despite of the functionality being pretty same to the previous one. It offers wide range of best of today on homepage which really populates it as it’s not very effective. There is no separate tab for promo codes or vouchers. The task bar is also slightly over populated.

The best thing about this website is it allows anyone to post a deal. The button is on the homepage tagged as “post a deal”. It asks for product details, brand details and a link to the source website and publishes. It’s a pretty useful idea but also backfires at times because of same deals being repeated over and over. The whole space becomes crowded at times but I guess that’s something which can be improved on fairly easily by employing a filter mechanism. Check it out on the link.
