Tokyo Academics Again: BILINGUAL Customer Service Representative

Some of you might remember me from a month or so ago. Well, there is another position that is opening up at my company! There is a hard req for Japanese language ability: JLPT N1 or native level Japanese is required. You also would need to be fluent/business level in English (which I'll assume most of you are). I'll structure this similarly to my last post.

Salary:

~$14-$19/hr depending on experience

-pays once a month via TransferWise

Pros:

-Working with a really great team

-Career progression available

Cons:

-Full-time in Japanese time zone

-Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pmJST

Who can apply:

Literally anyone who is native level/N1 Japanese and business level English. Experience in customer service is a big plus. Bachelor's degree is a huge plus. Definitely need to be able to work during Japan hours. Probably need some level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (Google Suite, hubspot).

Application process:

You can apply at our website. There is a video introduction in which you'll need to show your Japanese and English ability. Then there are 2 interviews, one of which requires some preparation in doing a sample task.

Personal verdict about this position:

I know the team. I know the people are great. It can be frustrating at times dealing with clients, but I am sure that there is a lot of opportunity for career progression in this rapidly growing company. If you are looking for a solid source of income with regular hours and on the job training, this would be a really good fit.
