Lionbridge map search evaluation - Guidelines / Sample questions contradiction

For anyone that has done this program before or has taken similar Lionbridge's exams - What do you do when you get a question on the exam, and a sample question/supporting material directly contradicts the guidelines? What do you follow, guidelines or sample questions?

I'm tempted to follow the guidelines, since I have a suspicion that lionbridge is providing outdated material and only the guidelines are updated

I'm not going to bother emailing them about this because I know I'll get no answer.
