Winter vacation for cuddlers

My hubby and I have some time off in mid November and are trying to figure out where to go. This will be our last vacation before starting our family so we're looking for something romantic. The hard part is pleasing both our tastes without breaking the bank. Looking for suggestions on places to go, preferably the actual resort/lodging but narrowing it down to a city will be a huge help!

My list: furniture/linens/etc that is nicer than what we currently have at home (tj Maxx and Target are our go tos for decor with some nicer pieces mixed in), somewhere with a view from the room, awesome food on site or nearby, somewhere that driving will be a minimum since it's winter and we can't drive in snow (desert dwellers), no VRBO or place where we NEED to buy groceries to feed ourselves

His list: somewhere within the lower 48 states, no cuises, romantic setting, preferably with a fireplace/jacuzzi/something to keep us warm while cuddling, outdoorsy things to do (we have no interest in skiing or snowboarding but are open to other slower safer things since I'm a klutz)

We're looking at a 3 night stay wherever we go. We haven't set a firm budget yet but best bang for our buck would be nice. The airfare will be a gift so we only need to cover lodging, food, and entertainment. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I've become overwhelmed looking literally everywhere and trying to compare everything!
