Where to start?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to dive into the remote work world and I'm not sure where to start. I would prefer something with a steady pay/ hourly rate, and not a survey or freelance gig. I am open to options if the expected pay is at least though. I have minor experience in IT and a fair amount in customer service and retail management. I'm not expecting a miracle dream job right away, but I am having a hard time getting my foot in the door. I had a job lined up through support.com, but ended up having to move out of their "supported living zone" before it started. Thank you all in advance for any assistance.
