Live TV

Whenever I use my iPad, Live always just crashes. Whenever I go to the app, it makes me sign back in. It won't let me even change my password. When it does work, I don't earn points (I know people are also having this sole issue). BUT. If I do it on my iPhone, I can earn even just a few points and it works. Even if the screen is just black, it doesn't kick me out of the app. Is it my iPad?
