Figure Eight - higher paying tasks at higher levels?

Just signed up last week and I'm still Lvl 0 now. Available tasks ranges from $0.01 to $0.10, and since I still have yet to level up, is it correct to assume that higher levels have higher paying tasks?

I've tried checking the potential jobs, which listed 3 jobs for Level 3 badges, with the highest paying one still at $0.10. Did the page just listed the lowest paying tasks? Else, it would not make sense for someone to grind to get Level 3.
