Any tips for sites like Swagbucks or Mturk?

I was just shown this subreddit and realized that with just a few hours a day I can make extra money. The thing is im a graveyard server at a relatively slow restaurant that I can do plenty of surveys, or watch videos or what have you. So any tips on good sites, or if I use one of those what can you say to help noobs?
