Decided to review monthly bills.

I was doing my budget and realized a lot of my monthly fixed expenditures were getting out of hand. Satellite radio, internet, cell plan. I set out to change that.

I switched internet providers and got a good deal on my home internet (fiber), called the satellite provider and negotiated a lower price, added my girlfriend to my cell plan and lowered our data (she always uses Wi-Fi and so do I. Even got a free phone in the deal!)

Monthly savings: $30 on internet $40 on cell phone $15 on satellite radio

All of these things just by calling around during my lunch break at work!
