(Paying someone beer money) Amex is blocking Venmo payments!

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue paying someone who made beer money off of me (writer). I am trying to use Venmo with my Amex Blue Card on file to pay him, but Amex is not processing the payment! I've tried once or twice over the last week, and Amex keeps preventing the transaction claiming "suspicious activity."

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I use my Amex for work (expense everything for those sweet miles) but I can't pay my freelance writer!

I've had no problem sending and receiving money through Venmo until I added my Amex.
