Any Resources For Condo vs Apartment? Arguments and Experiences For Either?

Hello!

I am a 28 year old living in New Orleans and I am thinking of moving back to my hometown of Washington D.C. sometime within the next few years. (As a lifelong DC Native I know how expensive can be up there at times). I am considering my next place or option to live as an adult and one thing that I am considering is moving into condominium from an apartment. I am curious what condo owners have to say and whether it is a wise financial decision to move towards a condo or is an apartment a better option to consider. Any horror/success stories people have or words of warning?
