Routers

I'm working with an old router that is struggling with the 8 phones and 2 pc's I currently have.

Looking for an upgrade specifically for beer money purposes. I plan to add about 2 devices a month and maybe 3-4 after the slow season ends.

Probably will top out at around 40 devices if I can find stuff for them to do. (YooLotto - please quit sucking!)

Anyway, what do I need to plan for this pertaining to a router?

Any other information pertaining to setting up a large farm would be appreciated as well.
