Lock Screen Rewards: 4 serivces
The premise of each service is simple: Each one places an advertisement or survey question in place of your lock screen that pays out in points when viewed or interacted with; some services offer additional points for downloading and opening promoted apps. You may want to disable your phone's lock screen. Bear in mind that I use my (Android) phone fairly frequently.
#1- AddMe Referral Non-Ref Enter referral code: "RLbjp89Z2K" for $0.25 bonus.
AddMe gives you three options for your lock screen: for the greatest rewards you can opt to view both a full screen ad (closes by tapping an X) and a content feed that you close by swiping; Interacting with any of the ads or content does not award extra points. You may also choose to view either just the content feed or the ad for reduced earnings. Cashout is handled through PayPal (minimum $10). Would not recommend as I opted for "Double Screen Mode" to maximize my earnings and oftentimes had to tap my way through 2-5 ads plus the content feed and sometimes the fullscreen ads just randomly pop up over whatever you happen to be doing. Minimum Cashout: $10 bimonthly Payout: Paypal Referral: $0.25 for using referral code, $1 for each new user referred. Awarding $3 to new users for signing up
#2- Fronto Referral Non-Ref Enter referral code: "RLbjp89Z2K" for $0.50 bonus or use the referral link.
Fronto offers a lock screen swipe that is a tad cumbersome as you must swipe a small circle, rather than the screen, left to unlock. Fronto only pays for 1 swipe per hour. Daily checkins on the app earn extra points for the first 10 days. You may also swipe right for more ads & promotions. You may earn extra points for certain actions such as: tapping an ad, downloading & opening an app, reading an article, or following a sponsor on social media; I never explored these options. Minimum Cashout: $5 at 15,000pts Payout: Amazon, Target, Starbucks... gift cards for a slightly increased rate varying by retailer, and PayPal scaling with number of points redeemed from 9,375pts = $3 up to 52,500pts = $20. One thing I have to point out is that it tracks your points and estimates your cash value at month's end. It seems deliberately misleading, for the first 2 weeks it read about $12-16 and over a period of 4 days dropped to less than $5 with no change in use. Referral: Enter "RLbjp89Z2K" for $0.50
#3- SlideJoy Referral Non-Ref Simple full screen ad, just swipe left to unlock or swipe right for more ads; swiping right or interacting with ads does not increase earnings. Signup with Facebook for increased earnings. You may choose "Hero Mode" that donates your earnings to charity. Otherwise it scales for both an Amazon gift card: 2,000pts=$2 up to 25,000pts=$25, and Paypal: 2,040pts = $2 up to 100,000pts = $100. Other gift card services available on a rotating basis. Minimum Cashout: $2 Payout: Bimonthly PayPal, Amazon card, and other retailers. Referral Unclear as quoted via the FAQs page,
Refer friends (since the more users we have the more advertisers we would have)
SurveyCow Non-Ref Enter code: JYZH8D to receive 250 "Beef Points"
SurveyCow places a survey question on your lock screen that you must answer to unlock your phone. There is a quick unlock button at the bottom of your screen that does not award points. I must point out that both options are extremely cumbersome and unresponsive thus really taking some time to unlock your phone; swiping would expedite the whole process. You will occasionally be offered extra surveys to fill out typically valued at around 180-250 Beef points; otherwise you can answer an unending stream of questions for 1 Beef Point each.
Minimum Cashout: $10 = 10,000 beefpoints Payout: PayPal
Referral: 250 Beef Points for signing up, 1000 Beef Points for each new user referred
Month end cash totals not counting referral bonuses
AddMe: $2.05 (+3.25 for signup bonus & referral code) Easily the most obtrusive and annoying of the 4, most work for little payout.
Fronto: $2.50-3 8,750pts, roughly half of the 15,000pts needed for a $5 PayPal redemption. Not bad, would be faster if you could unlock with a screen swipe rather than a small button.
Slidejoy: $2 2,220pts, little more than the 2,040 required for $2 No complaints about this one.
SurveyCow: Roughly $5. 4,759pts, almost halfway to 10,000pts for $10. Easily the best paying from my experience, but also very obtrusive. Tapping the questions or the "quick unlock" buttons are tedious and not very responsive. It has a habit of freezing up for a few seconds when you unlock.
I may sound like I'm nitpicking with some of these, but the short delays can be a problem when you're trying to quickly access your navigation, camera, or silence an alarm for example. This is just my experience with the applications, I would be happy to answer any questions.
