Is there a site for semi-skilled labor, above mturk but below upwork?

I'm looking to make a little more money than mturk but in a more casual fashion. I can write, solve math problems, program snippets of code, and so on. Mturk doesn't make use of skills except maybe for transcription and translation.

Upwork uses skilled labor but is very intensive and complex. You can't just find matching proposals and submit work. You have to go through extensive interactions with the client, and then the work itself is often larger or longer than an hour.

Is there any site that deals with "skilled" labor yet casual and laid back? Solve a homework problem for some college students, write a short script, write 500 words - all without having to go through extensive bidding and other hassles.
