Working Online, is it a viable option for me? Help!
Sorry if this is a long personal post...I am an American living in Denmark with my spouse. It has been impossible for me to find a job here as i'm not fluent in Danish yet. This has been infuriating as i was making 50k~ in the U.S. and it's required me to rely solely on my spouse's income coming up on 14 months now!
My previous work experience includes working in IT 4 years total with: computer sales/repair, Web Hosting services including Sales/Billing, Fraud prevention/New customer registration, Domain Registration/TOS Complaints, and customer service through a ticket and phone system. Additionally I have 5 years in the Legal Field including: Record Collection, Discovery(data mining, proof of claim, collecting evidence to support claims, etc.) and Deposition, Case Management, Paralegal duties for over 2,000 cases, and finally Management with a team of over 15 employees which required constant delegation and training of employees.
I type roughly 85 words per minute am tech savvy and reasonably knowledgeable when it comes to any kind of research, data mining, custodial skills, administrative skills, some simple HTML/CSS, etc.
I am at my witt's end and about to give up and go back to the US if i cannot make SOME kind of income while living here. I have seen WorldWide 101, MTurk, and a few others.
Can anyone provide information on which sites offer the best opportunities for someone in my position? I would like to make minimum $1,500+ a month and am willing to work up to 80 hours/week.
Thanks so much!
p.s. I don't know why it never occurred to me that i could be working remotely online. I must have been under the impression everything was a scam. :(
