ReceiptPal Issues

TLDR: Receiptpal would be great if they delivered what they explicitly promised. Worse, the support team is unresponsive so I just wasted 4 months worth of accrued points.

I started using ReceiptPal as an easy experiment that really didn't cost me much time and effort--take pictures of my receipts or email my ereceipts for gift cards. I determined the best deal for redemption was a "$50 Dinner and a Movie" where I was supposed to receive $50 restaurant.com gift code and a Fandango gift card for 2 movie tickets, valued at $14 each.

Long story short, after 4 months of diligently earning the points required for redemption, it's been extremely difficult to get my reward. While I instantly got an automated email with my restaurant.com code, the email also noted that a separate email with my Fandango code would "automatically" be sent. The words were vague on when automatically is. After a few days, I thought maybe it would be automatically sent after I redeem the restaurant.com ecode... but now 4 weeks later with the receiptpal support team pointing fingers at restaurant.com and now being unresponsive, and restaurant.com being completely unresponsive, I have still yet to receive any assistance.

The closest thing to assistance I've received was with my first inquiry to receiptpal when they indicated I need to reach out to restaurant.com and that my ticket is now "resolved". I've sent multiple help requests to both sources since then and have not heard a peep.

Additionally, they are now not recognizing some of my ereceipts because the snapshot they take off it, cuts off the information required to earn points. I sent another request for help resolving, we'll see where this goes.
