Leapforce questions: 1) terrible resume, 2) long absence/inactivity

1) How much weight does the resume have in terms of being accepted? I'm worried about applying because mine is terrible (i.e. 99.9% blank). I went to a good university but started suffering depression in my last year and in the (several) years since then I have had only one job & that was for 6 months. So basically, several years with a totally blank work history. (I guess they could go ahead and assume that I became a SAHM right out of college, which I did not, but sounds much nicer than the truth)

2) If I get accepted (I know, counting my chickens before they're hatched), I may have to stop doing work for them for several weeks in April because of a long trip to another country coming up. (I'd be willing to keep working, but I assume that they don't want you working from a different geographical location than the one you signed up for)
