Crowdflower Elite vs Clixsense tasks?

If you've ever done any Crowdflower tasks, you'll know by now that they pay best on Crowdflower Elite. However CF Elite has a limited set of tasks and lately they seem to be for the most part either broken or terribly tedious and boring or not worth the time.

Are CF tasks a bit better on Clixsense or other 3rd party sites?
I don't expect to get rich on CF, but I used to make $50 a month last year and now I struggle to make $15-20 a month for a lot more effort. Thanks.
