Continued experience with Scribie

No comments :

Hello everyone!

I was recently messaged by a redditor that had read through my post from June 2015, and I wanted to post an update and clear up some confusion.

First off, yes, I still do freelance work for Scribie. It works out quite well with my studies and allows me the necessary freedom to travel.

Additionally, Scribie has expanded their offerings, and now offer proofreading (which is basically quality control for entire files instead of parts of files) and even an independent contractor position that pays a guaranteed $150 a month for doing so many hours of audio per month.

They have changed their reward structure, and pay out $5 extra for every 3 hours of audio supplied. This audio can come from transcribed files, reviewed files, or even proofread files.

I've even had some luck with affiliate marketing, where I received payments due to others purchasing transcription services.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to take a look at my previous post, located here.

If you're interested, feel free to sign up and give it a go. It's a pretty decent way to make some extra beer money. Or, if you devote more time to it, you could probably make it into a decent side job.

Also, if you're looking to get files transcribed, or if you're aware of anyone that is looking for getting something transcribed, they can look here.

Thanks everyone!
